Description
MUSE is my zine about topics that are mean a lot to me. This edition grew out of my homeschooling years, when I was constantly experimenting with creative ways to help my kids learn. What started as unit studies and notebooking turned into something much more fun and lasting: making zines together.
This issue of MUSE: Homeschooling with Zines is part guide, part story, and part inspiration. Inside, I share how we used zines as a tool for learning, documenting, and sharing knowledge in a way that felt accessible and exciting for my kids. You’ll find reflections on different homeschooling styles, practical tips for creating zines with children, ideas for activities and layouts, and even examples of themes we explored.
The zine is full of real experiences, and designed to be both informative and encouraging. Whether you’re a homeschooling parent, a teacher, or simply curious about zine culture, This edition of MUSE offers a mix of how‑to guidance and personal storytelling that highlights the joy of learning through DIY publishing.
It's perfect for anyone looking to bring more creativity into their homeschool, classroom, or family projects. It’s also a great resource if you want to introduce kids to zines as a way of expressing themselves!
